| The Bala Hauz Mosque Directly across from the citadel, or Ark, the emir's residence, is his private chapel, the Bala Hauz mosque. Twenty elongated wooden columns with muqarans capitals from the longia of this eighteenth-sentury structure. In front of it a small basin serves as a reflection pool. |
