| | Protohieriei Dmitrii Wassilievitch Wassilieff (Vasiliev) Was born in 1822 in Orel (Russia) and died in Paris 15 december 1902 in Paris. The Russian Cimetery did not exist at this time
and he wanted to be burried in Cimetere de Montmartre (where many Frenc VIP, artists and other famous persons were burried). He was the brother of Protohieriei Joseph Vasiliev, who fonded the Russian Church (St.Alexander Nevsky) rue Daru in Paris in 1861. The both brothers where diplomed by Theological academy of Sankt-Petersburg.
With plenty russian rewards and the highest decoration in France "Legion d'Honneur Officer" shows him in 1896 when he received Nicolas II and his wife during their travel in France.
