The cult of St Anastasia the Healer was widespread in both Constantinople and the Balkans, particularly in Thessalonike. A healer of sickness, both bodily and spiritual, of particular assistance in cases of poisoning, and an exorciser of demons. Her feast day is December 22. Byzantine (Thessalonike), ca. 1400
